Compared to other brands, GAP pushes Coupon Popups more frequently further, they are customized keeping in mind the occasion(like Black Friday sales) and audience.

GAP Inc. has many sub-brands. However, the official website shows five of them: GAP, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Athleta, and Hill City. We decided to analyze the GAP's marketing strategies.

Take Black Friday 2019 sales as an example, GAP has introduced Coupons in different forms and designs on the website and its sub-brand websites.

GAP strategically places Coupon Popup at the top of the website. When the page is swiped down, this Popup will be pushed to the top.

When you navigate away it will be displayed at the top on the Information bar.

Even if this Popup is closed, it will still show at the bottom edge of the website until you open it again.

⭐️ 5. Mini Popup at the bottom right corner of the website (Banana Republic)

This Popup window matches the style of Banana Republic. It is relatively simple and at the same time innovative.

GAP's product details are very well done, and we have reason to believe that they will increase GAP's online sales:

🌹1.Special collection

The Product detail presented by the Banana Republic does a great job and it is worthy of reference.

Set up collections for sets of finished clothes. Then move the cursor to this collection, it will automatically display/push an Information Popup, listing all the items in this collection in detail, you can click to add it to the shopping cart. It is sure to increase the conversion rate greatly.

🌹 2.Social e-commerce

Social communication being an important digital marketing strategy is being leveraged for boosting sales. GAP also takes it seriously. In Hill City, they recently introduced the strategy of sharing with friends and getting discounts. Very clever indeed!
